Heidi Hautala, born in 1955 is a finnish politician as member of the Finnish Green Party. She is currently Minister for International Development since 2011. Hautala was a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from 2005 to 2009 and from 2009 until 2011. The focus of her work is concentrated on promoting environmental responsibility, openness of politics and global justice. Hautala is closely connected to the think tank Viso.
